Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software systems for Alexa-enabled screened devices.
- Invent Android-based customer experiences for Echo Show, Echo Spot, and similar devices.
- Build and integrate device frameworks, web services, APIs, and large-scale data infrastructure as needed.
- Deliver low-latency services that maintain reliable Alexa conversations at Amazon scale.
- Collaborate with UX, Product owners, Amazon teams, third-party services, and device teams.
- Deliver high-quality software through coding, testing, and collaboration in a team-focused Agile/Scrum environment.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 4 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 4 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
