Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and implement new or revised application systems and programs.
- Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
- Build and integrate Angular or React frontends with REST APIs.
- Design database schemas and optimize SQL queries using Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
- Use AI coding agents and AI-native development practices in everyday engineering workflows.
- Work with AWS or GCP, cloud-native services, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
- Analyze software applications and collaborate with technology teams to deliver solutions.
- Manage project implementation activities, deadlines, and changing requirements.
Requirements
- 7–11 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Hands-on Java experience and proficiency with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Experience with Angular and/or React and frontend integration with REST APIs.
- Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL, including strong SQL, query optimization, and schema design skills.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP, cloud-native services, containers, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to use Devin and Claude Code efficiently and integrate AI tooling into engineering workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control.
- Ability to independently design and prototype across multiple technology stacks.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, deadline-management, and adaptability skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
