Responsibilities
- Design and develop test automation scripts and perform test automation.
- Ensure traceability between test scripts, results, and client requirements.
- Own overall quality for project or program delivery and stories.
- Prepare test plans, test strategies, and test cases covering functional and UI scenarios.
- Test application modules and report bugs early in the release life cycle using standardized processes.
- Provide testing estimates and meet project testing timelines.
- Collaborate with software engineering and testing teams on knowledge sharing and technology unification.
- Support testing and quality activities within Agile delivery.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8+ years of proven professional experience is required.
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field is required.
- Strong experience with functional, UI, regression, sanity, smoke, and production testing across desktop and mobile/MEW applications.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, Agile or Scrum development methodologies, and test planning.
- Experience with Selenium, WebDriver, Git, and Core Java.
- Experience automating web applications using Selenium, Java or Ruby, and Cucumber.
- Experience writing UI automation for web applications and automating REST/SOAP services and Excel-based client applications.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, POM, Cucumber, SDET, and open-source test automation frameworks.
- Experience with web services and API testing using Rest Assured.
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL, RDBMS, DB2, Jenkins, and Maven.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-channel department.
