Responsibilities
- Monitor and support the global streaming platform.
- Identify, triage, resolve, or escalate faults across technology.
- Perform root cause analysis of complex faults.
- Provide reports on platform stability and performance.
- Update key stakeholders and senior management regularly.
- Write detailed support documentation and run-books.
- Collaborate closely with Broadcast Platforms Managers.
- Support the development of core streaming functions.
- Help build, test, and maintain a successful streaming operation.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities.
Requirements
- Prior experience supporting OTT head-end components, DRM, and CDNs.
- Experience troubleshooting OTT workflows and HTTP streaming solutions.
- Detailed knowledge of A/V encoding, packaging, and CDN technologies.
- High degree of troubleshooting and root cause analysis expertise.
- Ability to work outside of office hours, Monday to Sunday.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic, CloudWatch, and Conviva.
