Base Salary
$168k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evaluate whether prospect and customer applications fit Temporal’s platform.
- Educate customers and prospects on Temporal’s technical benefits and limitations.
- Position Temporal as an enterprise development standard against competing technologies and architectural patterns.
- Drive adoption and expansion of Temporal in customer production environments.
- Partner with Account Executives on account plans for new opportunities and expansions.
- Manage relationships with technical decision-makers and help customers leverage Temporal’s capabilities.
- Create reusable technical assets, reference architectures, playbooks, and demos for Solutions Architects.
- Build application prototypes and provide design, development, build, and deployment guidance.
- Advise on application patterns, platform architectures, and production considerations.
- Support opportunity scoping, sizing, and technical-fit assessment for Sales Account Executives.
Requirements
- Reside within the Eastern time zone of the United States.
- Have exceptional technical communication skills across engineering, platform-team, and executive audiences.
- Have a deep understanding of distributed systems technologies, design principles, and best practices.
- Be proficient in building application prototypes and providing guidance using one or more supported languages: Java, Golang, Python, C#, TypeScript, Ruby, or Rust.
- Understand production concerns including security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
- Provide insightful architectural advice on application patterns and platform architectures.
- Have experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with common application development and production services.
- Be able to serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives.
