Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance pipelines that ingest and transform data from diverse sources
- Build and maintain secure, flexible, tenant-aware APIs for external data integrations
- Support event-driven and batch processing architectures while maintaining data freshness and consistency
- Develop API and integration patterns for real-time and batch ingestion with varied authentication mechanisms
- Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting for data freshness, failures, and performance
- Optimize data flows and transformations for cost, efficiency, and rapid cloud-native development
- Collaborate with data engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to create a flexible, extensible integration platform
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or integration engineering focused on ETL, APIs, and data pipeline orchestration
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with API-based ETL and REST, GraphQL, and Webhooks
- Experience implementing authentication flows
- Proficiency in SQL and BigQuery
- Experience with orchestration frameworks such as Airflow
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and scaling workloads
- Ability to balance rapid development with maintainability and long-term platform stability
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0, API keys, secrets management, and secure multi-tenant architectures is a bonus
- Experience with ERP systems, CRMs, CDPs, or enterprise data tools and their APIs is a bonus
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and real-time data processing tools is a bonus
- Knowledge of data governance, GDPR, SOC2, and security best practices is a bonus
- Experience in a multi-tenant SaaS or large-scale data-intensive environment is a bonus
