Responsibilities
- Develop responsive user interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement and maintain REST APIs and backend services using Python, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Connect application features to AI/ML models, inference services, and third-party systems through APIs.
- Prepare and process data using PySpark, Kafka, BigQuery, and GCP where applicable.
- Create and optimize data pipelines and data models for data lakes and data warehouses.
- Manage the content, format, and integrity of data throughout its lifecycle.
- Work with relational data, SQL, and NoSQL system integrations.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests, troubleshoot defects, and improve performance and maintainability.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, Git workflows, branches, and pull requests.
- Support application deployment and operation using Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, or Argo Workflows.
- Collaborate with product, UX, data science, and engineering colleagues.
Requirements
- Hands-on software development experience across frontend and backend code.
- Working knowledge of React, JavaScript ES6+, HTML, CSS, asynchronous programming, and Redux or Context API.
- Ability to build or extend Python REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, SQL, and API integration patterns.
- Familiarity with unit testing, debugging, Git, and collaborative code reviews.
- Practical experience using coding agents to plan and implement bounded tasks, test and review code, and take ownership of results.
- Two to six years of experience with PySpark, Kafka, BigQuery, or GCP.
- Experience or familiarity with Airflow or Argo Workflows, Redis or Cassandra, Docker, Kubernetes, Webpack, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with AI/ML services or data preparation for data science use cases is an added advantage.
- Academic credentials, if provided, must be from recognized and accredited institutions and are subject to verification.
