Responsibilities

  • Deliver new features, services, and product enhancements for the Portal team.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and responsive web applications across devices and platforms.
  • Design and build APIs and microservices using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Product, Development, QA, and cross-functional teams to implement requirements and improve usability.
  • Follow software development lifecycle processes, coding standards, security requirements, and engineering best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Use automation, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development practices to improve software quality and delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership through solution design, implementation coordination, release support, and delivery ownership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development and front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Ionic.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and building APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
  • Experience with Agile/SAFe environments, Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, BDD, DevOps, and automation practices.
  • Strong experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, AI agent-driven development, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, and Maven.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
  • Proficiency in complex SQL and relational databases such as Snowflake, DB2, or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, and Visual Studio Code.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills across distributed teams and time zones.
  • Experience with Kafka, data streaming, and event-driven systems is preferred.
