Base Salary
$175k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own backend systems, services, APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure end-to-end.
- Solve complex technical problems involving distributed systems, scaling, concurrency, and performance.
- Deploy, serve, and scale large generative AI models in production.
- Instrument, experiment, and iterate on production systems and product quality.
- Design and operate platform infrastructure, third-party integrations, storage systems, security, and internal APIs.
- Partner closely with product, design, client, and AI teams to deliver reliable, scalable production systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional industry experience.
- Track record of shipping high-impact systems and/or products in production.
- Strong problem-solving fundamentals and ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent engineering judgment, practicality, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and scope and deliver projects end-to-end.
- Experience with LLMs and generative media models is preferred.
- Startup founder or early-stage engineering experience is preferred.
- Grounded, collaborative approach and willingness to contribute broadly are preferred.
