Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced deep learning models for humanoid robots.
- Train models using curriculum learning strategies for various manipulation tasks.
- Incorporate tactile sensing and proprioception into learning pipelines.
- Collaborate with the teleoperation and data team for data collection strategies.
- Deploy trained models to robotic hardware ensuring real-time performance.
- Develop and optimize the manipulation ML pipeline.
- Conduct rigorous testing of learned models in real-world scenarios.
- Stay updated with state-of-the-art research and development.
Requirements
- Masters or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in applying deep learning to robotic manipulation.
- Strong understanding of algorithms in behavior cloning and vision-language-action models.
- Experience with cloud computing and large-scale datasets.
- Ability to write high-quality software.
- Strong first principles thinker.
