Responsibilities
- Build software to help companies create thriving employee cultures.
- Collaborate with engineers to build and own products across a modern tech stack.
- Work with product teams to understand and address overarching pain points.
- Lead the execution of complex projects requiring cross-functional collaboration.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues to refine their technical skills.
- Contribute to engineering practices and advocate for improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in writing and maintaining production-level applications.
- Experience with modern programming languages such as TypeScript, Ruby, and Python.
- Experience maintaining services for organizations operating at scale.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Ability to debug software defects and improve application performance.
- Strong communication skills to explain thought processes and trade-offs.
- Passion for mentoring and supporting newer software engineers.
