Responsibilities
- Execute complex production support and technical administration activities.
- Validate application and database performance after releases and maintenance windows.
- Support critical banking applications while maintaining SLA compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex production issues.
- Conduct impact assessments, identify root causes, and drive issue resolution through closure.
- Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and database teams during critical incidents.
- Identify recurring issues, recommend preventive actions, analyze trends, and contribute to operational improvements.
- Create and maintain support documentation and troubleshooting guides.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to explain product functionality, technical concepts, and system behavior.
Requirements
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with experience debugging Oracle packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Understanding of Oracle indexing, constraints, exception handling, and cursors.
- Alternatively, hands-on experience supporting .NET applications and knowledge of C#, Angular, WCF, WPF, and Oracle databases.
- Experience troubleshooting application logs and integration issues.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving experience with the ability to guide clients through resolution.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience or strong working knowledge of banking, payments, financial services, fintech, or transaction-processing environments is preferred.
- Ability to work rotational, late-evening, overnight, early-morning, US-aligned, swing-shift, and bridge coverage schedules in a 24x7 production support environment.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations, major incident support, and critical production events outside regular business hours.
