Base Salary
$83k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver secure, scalable MuleSoft and AWS Kiro integration solutions for utilities, outage management, and critical business services.
- Drive API design, implementation, deployment, governance, policy enforcement, monitoring, versioning, and continuous improvement through API Manager and MuleSoft capabilities.
- Define reusable API-led integration patterns, frameworks, payload structures, and security standards.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across solution architecture, development, troubleshooting, code reviews, testing, and quality assurance.
- Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, logging, monitoring, alerting, and other controls to protect data and improve reliability.
- Optimize integration performance, availability, resilience, and incident response for outage workflows.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, utilities subject-matter experts, infrastructure teams, and cloud teams to deliver integration solutions.
- Maintain architecture documents, mapping specifications, and operational runbooks while mentoring engineers.
Requirements
- 10–13 years of enterprise integration experience with technical leadership of complex, business-critical solutions.
- Strong hands-on expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, Mule applications, integration patterns, DataWeave, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Deep experience with API Manager and end-to-end API lifecycle management, including design, governance, policy enforcement, analytics, versioning, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with AWS Kiro or comparable AI-assisted, specification-driven engineering tools for designs, code, tests, documentation, and repeatable workflows.
- Strong knowledge of API and integration security, including authentication, authorization, encryption, secure communication, compliance controls, and data protection.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, high availability, resilience, and incident response.
- Utilities-domain experience, preferably involving outage management, service-status communication, restoration workflows, or other operationally critical integrations.
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or an equivalent enterprise integration certification.
- Strong stakeholder communication, team mentoring, and hybrid-delivery coordination skills.
