Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and deliver integrations between the CIDAP platform and Citi infrastructure components.
- Lead root-cause analysis for outages, performance degradation, and application failures across lower and production environments.
- Automate infrastructure build and configuration to improve consistency, repeatability, and reliability.
- Conduct security vulnerability assessments and infrastructure risk reviews and implement remediation measures.
- Optimize platform stability, scalability, performance, and system reliability.
- Develop and maintain knowledge-base articles, FAQs, and technical documentation for environment setup and operational workflows.
- Assess and manage operational, regulatory, control, and reputational risks in accordance with Citi policies.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on experience in DevOps engineering or an equivalent software engineering role delivering complex infrastructure and platform solutions.
- Deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift administration, Docker, and YAML-based configuration management.
- Advanced scripting and infrastructure automation capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, security considerations, design patterns, and implementation practices.
- Extensive GitHub experience, including branching, merging, and version-control workflows.
- Experience with Oracle database administration and application integration.
- Experience configuring, maintaining, and optimizing load balancers for high-availability environments.
- Hands-on experience with OTEL, Google Cloud Observability, Grafana, Kibana, and Splunk.
- Knowledge of Kafka, certificates, secrets, keys, access controls, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, firewalls, proxies, and routing.
- Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related engineering discipline.
