Responsibilities
- Execute software verification and validation activities in accordance with DO-178C.
- Perform requirements-based testing and verification activities.
- Review and validate High-Level Requirements and Low-Level Requirements.
- Maintain end-to-end traceability across requirements, design, implementation, and verification artifacts.
- Perform defect analysis, root-cause investigation, debugging, static analysis, code reviews, and structural coverage assessments.
- Create certification evidence and compliance documentation and support certification audits and regulatory reviews.
- Collaborate with global engineering, program, and certification teams.
- Lead certification activities, mentor junior engineers, and support continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, verification, validation, or safety certification.
- Strong expertise in DO-178C certification, compliance, verification and validation, requirements traceability, and audit support.
- Hands-on experience with embedded software development, C/Embedded C, BSPs, device drivers, and SDLC processes.
- Proficiency with LDRA, Polarion, DOORS, Git, Jira, Linux, and Python.
- Experience leading certification activities and delivering safety-critical software projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes leading safety-critical certification programs, managing global or distributed engineering teams, supporting customer audits and certification reviews, mentoring teams, and driving process improvements.
- Exposure to VxWorks, Embedded Linux, Helix Virtualization Platform, IEC 61508, ISO 26262, and IEC 50128 is preferred.
