Responsibilities
- Integrate with data and software engineering teams to assess security of new applications and features.
- Develop solutions to enhance security of StudyTeam SaaS applications and infrastructure.
- Coordinate and confirm remediation of vulnerabilities identified through penetration testing.
- Select and configure additional vulnerability scanning technologies.
- Lead incident response for web applications and infrastructure.
- Drive improvements to OneStudyTeam’s Security Program within the SDLC.
- Author and delegate formal technical risk assessments.
Requirements
- 7 or more years of experience in a dedicated technical security role.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
- Deep understanding of modern application stacks and cloud environments.
- Solid knowledge of OWASP Top 10 from attack and mitigation perspectives.
- Understanding of modern source control systems like Git.
- Desire to mentor security team members and collaborate with senior engineers.
- Prior experience with Data, Engineering, and DevOps teams is a strong plus.
- Experience leading technical incident response is a strong plus.
