Responsibilities
- Architect AI-powered applications using autonomous and semi-autonomous agentic frameworks.
- Apply AI agents across analysis, design, build, test, deployment, documentation, and operations.
- Modernize legacy applications through AI-assisted discovery, transformation, and refactoring.
- Define end-to-end architectures integrating software systems, LLMs, vector stores, and orchestration.
- Drive AI adoption and solution roadmaps across Avanade Regions and multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop accelerators, reference architectures, and reusable agentic AI assets.
- Guide engineering, data, DevOps, and MLOps teams on AI automation and pipeline integration.
- Support solution planning, delivery phases, and occasional high-value client engagements.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong software engineering foundation across frontend, backend, APIs, data, and cloud architecture.
- Expertise in Java or C# as a primary language, with hands-on experience in Python, Rust, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Proven experience applying agentic AI to modernize legacy systems or build new solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or equivalent agentic AI frameworks.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, orchestration patterns, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong Azure expertise preferred, with hands-on exposure to AWS and GCP.
- Experience with DevOps and MLOps, including infrastructure as code, automated testing, observability, and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with data engineering, ML models, Responsible AI, and enterprise governance.
- Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to technical and executive audiences.
- Cloud, AI engineering, or architecture certifications are a plus.
- Passion for AI, agentic patterns, mentoring, and continuously evaluating emerging frameworks and architectural approaches.
