Base Salary
$170k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build new products and tools that help larger teams and companies manage their applications as they grow.
- Take complete, end-to-end ownership of full-stack projects and build user-facing deployment features and abstractions.
- Collaborate with design, product, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Evolve and mature the Render codebase and technology as the product scales in complexity.
- Participate in team planning, roadmapping, and goal-setting.
- Help shape team culture and practices as the company scales.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities with the team.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of professional experience shipping software.
- Experience collaborating with product and design stakeholders.
- Experience working across the stack, wearing multiple hats, and working both collaboratively and independently.
- Strong understanding of web frameworks, APIs, and databases, with experience using multiple programming languages.
- Strong ownership and ability to make pragmatic decisions.
- Familiarity with modern tooling for software build and deployment processes is preferred.
- Familiarity building for product-driven growth and modern enterprise audiences is preferred.
- Experience with Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, Postgres, Terraform, or Temporal is preferred.
- Candidates should demonstrate high integrity, humility, and a strong drive to learn.
