Responsibilities

  • Perform and coordinate complex application programming, design technical infrastructure, and develop cost-effective solutions.
  • Develop, test, implement, and integrate cross-functional, multi-platform applications for global screening and anti-money-laundering technology.
  • Oversee issue, problem, deviation, and risk management, including root-cause determination and resolution.
  • Gather requirements, prepare design specifications, and lead effort estimation and documentation for project or intake-driven work.
  • Lead development activities and code-review sessions while mentoring intermediate and senior developers.

Requirements

  • Experience developing, testing, and implementing with Databricks, Oracle PL/SQL, and query tuning.
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux scripting, SQL, Java, JSON, AutoSys, and Unix, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Experience with big-data technologies including Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, and Spark.
  • Experience with system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting is an asset.
  • Commercial off-the-shelf experience and understanding of real-time and batch architectures are assets.
  • Familiarity with anti-money-laundering sanction screening is preferred.
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
