Base Salary
$105k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, and optimize secure, scalable, and highly available software for OCI certificate, cryptographic-key, and trust infrastructure.
- Lead cross-team evolution of middleware patterns, runtimes, interoperability standards, API versioning, deprecation, and rollout strategies.
- Drive shared observability baselines, SLOs, error budgets, resilience patterns, monitoring, logging, and service-availability improvements across multiple services.
- Contribute to software architecture, performance optimization, scalability strategies, technology evaluations, and architectural standards.
- Investigate complex software defects and customer issues, provide technical guidance, and recommend short- and long-term product enhancements.
- Maintain and patch systems, automate testing and debugging, and improve operational reliability and support processes.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, coaching, mentoring, hiring interviews, and talent recommendations.
- Coordinate moderately complex projects and initiatives, including timelines, deliverables, delegation, and technical oversight.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building distributed systems.
- Interest in applied cryptography and cloud security.
- Advanced experience designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing complex software systems.
- Experience with software architecture, API functionality and integration, API lifecycle management, performance optimization, scalability, observability, and reliability practices.
- Ability to apply secure coding practices, software development standards, quality assurance processes, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to provide technical guidance and coaching to less experienced engineers and collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and partner teams.
- Ability to manage moderately complex technical tasks and coordinate work across multiple projects or teams.
