Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack features using React, Java, and Spring Boot microservices.
- Maintain C#/.NET applications and MS SQL databases while supporting migration to Java/Spring Boot and PostgreSQL.
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and indexes.
- Create and maintain APIs integrated with React frontends and aligned with data governance policies.
- Implement enhancements, troubleshoot frontend and backend issues, and resolve technical problems.
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews.
- Use AI tools for code generation, documentation, code review, testing, coverage analysis, and debugging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Write and maintain unit tests and stay current with relevant technologies and AI/LLM capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot for backend and microservices development.
- Experience with React, modern JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, PostgreSQL, and relational databases.
- Understanding of web application and API security principles.
- Experience with Git and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Comfort using AI as a daily tool across software design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Preferred: experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, automated testing frameworks, responsive design, accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
- Preferred: familiarity with microservices architecture and effective prompting and evaluation of AI tools.
