Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and support Power Platform business solutions using Power Apps, Power Apps Code Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and SharePoint Online.
- Build Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions, SharePoint structures, automated workflows, canvas apps, field and mobile applications, and client-facing business processes.
- Integrate Microsoft 365 solutions with external systems using APIs, custom connectors, HTTP actions, Office Scripts, Power Query, and related methods.
- Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets; clean, transform, normalize, and model data from SharePoint, Dataverse, Excel, SQL, APIs, and other sources.
- Gather requirements, document workflows, recommend technology solutions, troubleshoot applications and data connections, and support deployments and long-term maintenance.
- Create reusable development patterns, technical documentation, training materials, user guides, and video tutorials.
- Apply practical knowledge of large language models, generative AI, prompt design, responsible AI, and AI-assisted development to improve business solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent professional experience, training, or certifications.
- 3–6 years of experience developing business applications, automations, reporting solutions, databases, or cloud-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power Automate, and experience configuring and supporting SharePoint Online.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Excel, Forms, and Planner.
- Knowledge of relational data concepts, data modeling, structured data management, requirements gathering, application troubleshooting, and user permissions.
- Ability to independently manage assigned work from requirements through testing and support and communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Basic understanding of large language models, generative AI tools, prompt engineering, responsible AI, and business applications of AI.
- Preferred qualifications include Dataverse, model-driven apps, Power Pages, Power BI, Power Query, DAX, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, scripting languages, web applications, AI agents, environmental or EHS workflows, mobile Power Apps, regulated Microsoft 365 environments, release practices, and Microsoft certifications.
