Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Improve and extend infrastructure for trading, account management, and transaction processing.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security across backend systems.
- Build and enhance internal tools, data pipelines, and system integrations.
- Extend devOps/infrastructure for CI/CD, deployment automation, and monitoring.
- Champion best practices for code quality, system design, and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive architectural initiatives.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience building backend systems in TypeScript or comparable languages.
- Strong backend fundamentals including APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience with database design (SQL & NoSQL) and performance optimization.
- Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure as code.
- Solid understanding of security practices for backend systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
