Responsibilities
- Lead User Acceptance Testing initiatives and product rollouts into production.
- Perform software quality assurance, process monitoring, product evaluation, audits, and backend automation testing.
- Create and modify test scenarios and scripts using Java-based automation frameworks and tools.
- Ensure software development life cycle standards and procedures are documented, followed, and improved.
- Monitor product and process conformance, identify risks, recommend solutions, and conduct root-cause analyses.
- Verify traceability in project work products and ensure corrective actions are assigned, documented, and completed.
- Create and maintain quality metrics reports and use findings to recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with technology teams to develop standards and procedures.
- Advise and mentor junior team members while contributing as an individual or team contributor.
- Assess risk and support compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of strong hands-on experience with Core Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Strong experience with backend automation testing, including API, message-based, and database testing.
- Good knowledge of Selenium, SQL, and Linux.
- Strong knowledge of Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and related DevOps tools.
- Practical experience with version control and test automation tools.
- Ability to write complex queries and experience with reporting tools.
- Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka, Solace, or Tibco is preferred.
- Development experience in a fast-paced, time-to-market-driven environment.
- Demonstrated execution capabilities, communication skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience.
