Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and optimize custom software components and applications.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using Databricks.
- Apply distributed computing and big data processing practices to develop high-performing solutions.
- Debug, performance-tune, and optimize data workflows and software systems.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Lead coordination of project activities to support timely delivery of software components.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with distributed computing and big data processing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and integration of data services.
- Competence in debugging, performance tuning, and optimizing data workflows.
