Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and applications using Python or TypeScript.
- Lead development of APIs, integrations, reusable software components, and AI-enabled features.
- Build solutions for data ingestion, data manipulation, service-to-service communication, and intelligent automation.
- Apply AI technologies and software engineering practices to improve products, developer productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Make technical decisions regarding architecture, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
- Deploy and operate applications using AWS and improve testing, monitoring, documentation, and delivery standards.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing and delivering production software.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python; TypeScript or similar languages is valuable.
- Experience building backend services, APIs, integrations, and service-oriented applications.
- Experience applying AI technologies such as generative AI, machine learning services, intelligent automation, or AI-enabled application features.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, testing, debugging, performance optimization, and secure development.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and familiarity with Git-based CI/CD practices.
- Experience with data-intensive applications, ingestion services, or distributed systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with containers, infrastructure as code, observability, workflow orchestration, or MLOps is preferred.
- Experience with streaming technologies, automated quality practices, LLM integrations, prompt engineering, or retrieval-augmented generation is preferred.
