Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Build and maintain algorithms and applications that integrate reliably with supporting systems.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, while validating generated outputs.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to produce visualizations and reporting that improve applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene, system architecture, and team effectiveness.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools, automation capabilities, secure coding standards, and operational stability practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
- Experience with AWS services including ECS, S3, and RDS, as well as Cassandra.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine their outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Overall knowledge of the software development lifecycle and solid understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Preferred experience with distributed-system patterns, messaging or streaming, and observability tools including Kafka, RabbitMQ, Splunk, Grafana, or Dynatrace.
