Responsibilities
- Design and develop Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, Lightning Web Components, and Flows for approved user stories.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce Core and ERP, POS, PIM/DAM, payment providers, and other adjacent systems through middleware.
- Implement Salesforce declarative configuration, including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, permission sets, and sharing rules.
- Write and maintain Apex unit tests, meet code coverage and quality standards, and support static-analysis and security-scanning remediation.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, demos, and backlog estimation.
- Support code reviews, deployment activities through Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and Salesforce sandbox refreshes.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including comments, README files, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate delivered functionality.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow Builder, and the Salesforce security and sharing model.
- Experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP APIs and working with integration middleware such as MuleSoft or Boomi.
- Understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud data models and standard functionality.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD tooling, including Git and Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of secure coding practices, OWASP, and Salesforce governor limits.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and unit tests.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification is preferred.
- Salesforce Administrator or App Builder certification is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud or other China-specific Salesforce deployments is preferred.
- Experience in retail, luxury goods, or omnichannel CRM environments is preferred.
