Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end development of features from design through production.
- Own technical decisions, architecture, and detailed design for microservices, APIs, and web applications.
- Run proofs of concept to evaluate technologies, approaches, and solutions.
- Write high-quality, well-tested production code as an individual contributor.
- Set and uphold engineering standards through code reviews and best practices.
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and performant.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
- Collaborate with product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams across locations to plan and deliver work.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience, including significant hands-on full-stack work.
- Proven experience making architecture and design decisions and leading technical delivery.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js with NestJS.
- Experience designing microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and PostgreSQL data models.
- Understanding of web security, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably on Azure.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, Redis, or real-time data streaming.
- Preferred experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
- Preferred experience in IoT or building systems.
