Responsibilities
- Own Corporate Insight Agent features and systems from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation, deployment, and iteration.
- Serve as a subject matter expert across the full stack, including AI-native development, systems design, front-end development, and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, shape requirements, and improve business processes.
- Define initiatives, technical approaches, and priorities in ambiguous environments without relying on fully written specifications.
- Build and optimize production AI agent systems for quality, reliability, latency, and cost.
- Balance rapid prototypes with scalable, maintainable, production-ready systems.
- Iterate with users and stakeholders while maintaining high standards for engineering quality, reliability, and observability.
- Use Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and other AI coding tools to improve productivity, code quality, documentation, and delivery speed.
- Own production systems responsively and communicate proactively, especially during incidents or periods of operational pressure.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on software development experience and a track record of shipping customer-facing applications.
- Experience building production AI systems and optimizing AI agents for quality, reliability, latency, and cost.
- Experience with TypeScript, Python, React, APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and reliable workflows.
- Experience building high-quality user experiences, scalable backend systems, observable services, and full-stack applications.
- Hands-on experience building LLM-powered products and agent experiences, including agent loops, MCP integration, and custom tools.
- Strong application architecture, observability, messaging, workflow-pattern, and infrastructure-design knowledge.
- A day-to-day AI-accelerated development workflow using AI coding tools.
- Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders, translate business needs into technical solutions, and explain engineering tradeoffs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong communication, ownership, reliability, customer focus, craftsmanship, and adaptability in ambiguous environments.
