Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable .NET services for commerce and payment capabilities.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain REST APIs and payment gateway integrations.
- Support regional payment methods and improve payment reliability for global subscribers.
- Plan, design, test, operate, and maintain services while addressing non-functional requirements and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical decisions and platform architecture.
- Coach and mentor engineers at various levels.
- Contribute features to a customer-facing application.
Requirements
- Proven experience with C# and .NET Core web application development.
- Proven experience designing, creating, and consuming REST APIs.
- Proven experience with relational databases and Entity Framework Core.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming best practices, Docker containerization, and web security principles.
- Proven experience designing and operating microservice architectures.
- Strong communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred: architecture creation, ADR/RFC documentation, commerce systems, payment providers, Zuora, AWS, Secrets Manager, background services, or Angular experience.
