Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and build internal AI solutions, developer assistants, agentic SDLC workflows, code-analysis tools, documentation tools, testing tools, migration tools, and engineering support capabilities.
- Develop reusable prompt, tool-calling, orchestration, RAG, SDK, template, integration, copilot, and agent patterns for organization-wide adoption.
- Partner with engineering teams, architects, leaders, and internal stakeholders to identify use cases, prototype solutions, provide implementation guidance, and drive adoption.
- Create playbooks, examples, templates, documentation, workshops, office hours, and other AI enablement materials.
- Define and apply evaluation, testing, governance, safety, privacy, PII-handling, observability, feedback, and human-review practices for internal AI solutions.
- Design for model selection, routing, prompt and context optimization, caching, retrieval efficiency, latency, reliability, cost awareness, and reduced vendor lock-in.
- Translate engineering productivity needs into roadmap-aligned AI initiatives and help measure adoption and capacity improvements.
Requirements
- Typically 6+ years of software engineering experience, including meaningful hands-on experience building production applications or internal platforms.
- 2+ years of applied AI, LLM, generative AI, or agentic workflow experience.
- Strong programming experience in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar production languages.
- Experience designing and building cloud-native applications or services in Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Practical experience with LLM application development, prompt engineering and versioning, tool or function calling, RAG architectures, vector databases or semantic retrieval, and multi-step workflow or agent orchestration.
- Familiarity with Git-based development, CI/CD, automated testing, API design, observability, and logging.
- Experience using or enabling AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, or Codex.
- Ability to work directly with engineering teams to understand needs, prototype solutions, and drive adoption.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain AI concepts and implementation patterns clearly.
- Preferred experience includes internal developer platforms, engineering productivity tools, agent frameworks, evaluation frameworks, browser or workflow automation, enterprise search, privacy or regulated-data environments, complex business domains, and AI adoption or technical enablement programs.
