Base Salary

$107k - $261k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop a technical vision and implementation plans for complex software and AI initiatives.
  • Break down complex technical problems, processes, and projects into manageable components.
  • Design and implement APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and real-time streaming solutions on cloud platforms.
  • Research emerging technologies, design principles, and development frameworks.
  • Provide technical guidance for clean, scalable, maintainable software using best practices and design patterns.
  • Architect and implement enterprise-scale Agentic AI solutions using MCP, RAG, reusable Skills, and multi-agent orchestration.
  • Design and optimize AI platforms using vector databases, semantic search, contextual retrieval, and token-efficient prompting.
  • Establish standards for MCP integrations, AI Skills, agent orchestration, memory management, and workflow automation.
  • Lead cloud-native, AI-powered software solutions that improve operational efficiency and developer productivity.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on multiple complex technical initiatives.
  • Establish technical direction, standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Lead assigned team projects and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience as a software engineer or in a combination of machine learning and software engineering, including at least 5 years leading software development projects.
  • At least 5 years of software development experience with Angular, Java Spring Boot, and cloud-native environments on GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • At least 3 years of Python programming experience with in-depth knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, Git, and version control.
  • At least 2 years developing AI and agentic solutions, including intelligent agents, autonomous workflows, cloud-native AI/ML integrations, LLMs, vector databases, orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, RAG, and multi-agent collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include healthcare domain knowledge, 5 or more years of Python, experience with XP, Agile, DevSecOps, and DataOps, and experience with RxClaim or other PBM adjudication systems.
