Base Salary
$101k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, test, debug, and maintain complex software product applications and capabilities.
- Build complex Java web services using Spring Boot for Early Warning’s core product offerings.
- Manage source code with Git and review and approve pull requests to maintain code quality.
- Query platform data using SQL-based databases.
- Build automated tests alongside sprint work and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Document complex technical details and decisions in Confluence.
- Troubleshoot complex development issues and support secure software engineering, risk management, and protection of systems and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, computer information systems, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent qualifying experience as stated in the posting.
- At least 5 years of direct software engineering or related experience.
- Proficiency with Git and the Git flow branching model.
- Required experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and automated testing.
- Proficiency with SQL and RESTful service design.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include additional related education or work experience, SOAP services, XML, JSON, YAML, NoSQL databases such as Redis, HBASE, or AeroSpike, and FinTech experience.
- Successful completion of a background and drug screen is required.
