Responsibilities
- Work with founders and design to implement new concepts and ideas.
- Build AI-powered functionality into Linear’s core product.
- Update the realtime collaborative content editor used across internal surfaces.
- Build scalable, polished user-facing features and UI components.
- Improve application performance.
- Refine software development processes to maintain high team velocity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building customer-facing products at a high-quality software company.
- Strong React and TypeScript fundamentals with full-stack experience across browser technologies, Node, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Demonstrated ability to drive complex end-to-end features with visible product impact.
- Strong product sensibility and attention to user experience, speed, and polish.
- Ability to shape problems and solutions independently without heavy product management overhead.
- Self-directed ownership of features from idea through shipment.
- Comfort working in a remote, async-first environment with a lean team.
- Experience at a startup or a company with a genuinely high engineering bar.
