Responsibilities
- Design and develop device management, automated test execution, and results-processing components for an on-premise testing platform.
- Build scalable services supporting diverse device types, architectures, and testing environments.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize VMware, Proxmox, and Nutanix Virtualization infrastructure.
- Integrate platform services with network engineering, security, and software engineering systems.
- Create technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and operational guides.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve platform reliability, performance, availability, security, and user experience.
Requirements
- Background in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Foundational knowledge of VMware, Proxmox, and Nutanix Virtualization; hands-on experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, preferably Python.
- Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, or similar automation and infrastructure-as-code tools is a plus.
- Understanding of functional, regression, and performance testing concepts.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in platform, DevOps, or distributed systems projects through work, school, internships, or personal projects is a nice-to-have.
