Base Salary

$225k - $275k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop performance-oriented model optimizations at graph, kernel, and system levels.
Advance the Thunder compiler by building optimization passes and integration hooks.
Ensure optimizations are accessible through clean APIs and automated tooling.
Design and implement profiling and debugging tools to analyze model execution.
Collaborate with hardware vendors to ensure Thunder runs efficiently across diverse backends.
Contribute to open-source projects by developing new features and improving documentation.
Engage with the community to provide guidance on performance tuning.

Strong expertise with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
Hands-on experience with model optimization techniques.
Knowledge of distributed systems and parallelism strategies.
Familiarity with software engineering practices for performance-sensitive systems.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
