Base Salary
$187k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and own mission-critical software applications for satellite systems.
- Support spacecraft commissioning during launch and early operations and maintain software functionality during critical operations.
- Own spacecraft software solutions from initial design through deployment.
- Perform unit, integration, and system-level testing and resolve defects and issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish product requirements and technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.
- 8+ years of total flight software experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust.
- Experience with real-time systems running on distributed hardware.
- Knowledge of embedded Linux, system administration, and creating Linux distributions with Yocto.
- Familiarity with satellite systems and protocols such as CCSDS and ECSS.
- Experience integrating, testing, and validating software for real-time and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, UDP, secure communication systems, Protobuf, and encryption.
