Responsibilities
- Design and build automated, scalable, highly available cloud-native infrastructure.
- Operate and maintain Linux and Kubernetes-based infrastructure components through automated processes and pipelines.
- Create self-service infrastructure capabilities that enable engineering teams to work autonomously.
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of large-scale distributed systems during high-traffic events.
- Contribute to technical strategy and roadmaps for the platform.
- Partner with Principals, Engineering Leads, and developers to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Optimize infrastructure cost efficiency and reliability through automation and modern infrastructure patterns.
- Mentor and guide engineers while promoting technical excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining complex platform infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Strong technical background in multi-cloud infrastructure such as Azure and GCP, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD patterns using tools such as ArgoCD and Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with development languages such as Python or Golang for building developer tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and technical influence skills.
- Commitment to security and compliance as core aspects of reliable platform engineering.
