Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle from analysis to production.
Influence system architecture and solve complex technical problems.
Work with and gradually modernize legacy code.
Design and optimize solutions involving relational databases.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into working software.
Work on banking, accounting, mobile, back-office, and regulatory-reporting functionality.

Several years of backend development experience with Java and Spring.
Experience participating in the full software development lifecycle in a team environment.
Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle or PostgreSQL.
Ability to work with legacy code and modernize it incrementally.
English and Polish proficiency at a minimum B2+ level.
Readiness to work in a hybrid model: four office days per week during onboarding and three afterward.
Banking or regulated-systems experience, such as PCI DSS, is preferred.
Infrastructure or networking knowledge is preferred.
Google Cloud Platform experience is preferred.
SQL query optimization experience is preferred.
GlassFish experience is preferred.
