Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Java and Spring.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from analysis to production.
- Influence system architecture and solve complex technical problems.
- Work with and gradually modernize legacy code.
- Design and optimize solutions involving relational databases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into working software.
- Work on banking, accounting, mobile, back-office, and regulatory-reporting functionality.
Requirements
- Several years of backend development experience with Java and Spring.
- Experience participating in the full software development lifecycle in a team environment.
- Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Ability to work with legacy code and modernize it incrementally.
- English and Polish proficiency at a minimum B2+ level.
- Readiness to work in a hybrid model: four office days per week during onboarding and three afterward.
- Banking or regulated-systems experience, such as PCI DSS, is preferred.
- Infrastructure or networking knowledge is preferred.
- Google Cloud Platform experience is preferred.
- SQL query optimization experience is preferred.
- GlassFish experience is preferred.
