QA Engineer
AI SquaredResponsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites with a goal of automating 80% of integration tests.
- Understand the AI product, user journeys, edge cases, and potential failure modes to improve coverage.
- Identify quality risks early and continuously improve testing processes.
- Build reusable test frameworks and components.
- Own delivery of the software development test suites and framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve requirements, testability, and quality insights.
- Create video demonstrations and structured documentation for issues, test scenarios, frameworks, and quality processes.
- Communicate quality concerns, test results, and recommendations through written updates and team discussions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in QA/SDET roles focused on test automation and integration testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and/or Ruby for test automation.
- Experience with Playwright, Selenium, Jest, or similar frontend and API testing frameworks.
- Ability to design comprehensive test strategies for complex user workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including questioning assumptions and developing testing approaches from fundamentals.
- Ability to create detailed documentation, test plans, bug reports, and asynchronous updates.
- Ability to work proactively and independently in a distributed team environment.
- Interest in testing best practices and the AI/ML domain.
