Base Salary
$114k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Cloud & Application, Test Automation, DevSecOps, and Systems Test teams in an Agile software development environment.
- Participate in prototype design, graphical user interface design, implementation, integration, testing, build, release, and delivery across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop enterprise solutions for Java Enterprise Edition in a service-oriented architecture environment.
- Apply object-oriented programming, design patterns, JMS, web services, XML, XPath, XSLT, and XSD.
- Collaborate regularly with team members in a process-oriented software development environment.
Requirements
- Level 3 requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related engineering experience, a STEM master’s degree and 3 years, or a STEM PhD and 1 year.
- Level 4 requires a STEM bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related engineering experience, a STEM master’s degree and 6 years, or a STEM PhD and 4 years.
- Experience with Agile software development, including participation as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or team member, and experience across the full SDLC.
- Experience with object-oriented architecture and programming, software integration and testing, Java, Java microservices, and GUI applications.
- Experience with at least two of Python, Go, C++, C#, PowerShell, VBScript, Bash, or KornShell.
- Experience with cloud technologies and service providers.
- Ability to transfer and maintain a final adjudicated U.S. government Top Secret clearance and obtain and maintain initial and upgraded SAP/PAR access.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced STEM or technical management degree; experience with databases, container-management tools, application and container security, machine-learning model development, threading, DDS messaging, web technologies, UML, and SQL/NoSQL.
Benefits
- Primary level base salary is $114,000.00-$171,000.00 annually and secondary level base salary is $142,200.00-$213,400.00 annually.

- The position is onsite in San Diego, California, requires 10% travel, and is contingent on program funding; start dates depend on funding confirmation.
