Responsibilities
- Build backend services connecting Cash, Yield, Lending, payments, card spend, and collections into unified financial workflows.
- Develop financial infrastructure including reconciliation controls, unit registries, investment ledgers, and integration rails.
- Write reliable, testable code and contribute to API design, observability, and maintainable engineering practices.
- Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, Design, and engineering teams to translate complex financial requirements into customer experiences.
- Deliver backend services and financial workflows from design through production.
Requirements
- Professional experience building and shipping software, ideally in a backend or full-stack engineering role.
- Experience with a backend programming language and interest in learning Kotlin.
- Understanding of distributed-systems concepts including scalability, consistency, latency, and reliability.
- Experience writing automated tests and contributing to software quality.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools.
- Preferred experience with Kotlin, Vert.x, Temporal, Kafka, external service integrations, API-based systems, financial services, regulated environments, SaaS products, or platforms.
