Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain APIs using Java while meeting security, performance, and scalability standards.
- Implement and maintain decoupled, business-oriented microservices.
- Integrate applications through internal and external APIs.
- Apply best practices for API versioning, documentation, and testing.
- Identify and resolve performance, security, and availability issues.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement sessions.
- Collaborate with functional, technical, and business specialists to implement and integrate technology solutions for Capgemini clients.
Requirements
- 4 to 5 years of experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and practical experience creating microservices.
- Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
