Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain code for web-based applications, backend services, and distributed systems.
- Collaborate with software and production engineers to design scalable services, plan feature rollouts, and ensure product reliability and performance.
- Conduct code reviews, contribute high-quality documentation, and build robust test suites.
- Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Work on a cross-functional agile team across operational tools, product, or infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required.
- Five years of programming experience with Python, Java, C#, Perl, or JavaScript is required.
- Experience working in a highly iterative environment with automated testing and continuous delivery.
- Experience building RPC services using Thrift, gRPC, or an equivalent technology.
- Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
