Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build DSAR, deletion, and data-retention pipelines across Hark's services.
- Architect de-identification and tokenization systems for PII and conversation content.
- Translate CCPA, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements into technical implementations with legal and compliance partners.
- Embed privacy-by-design principles into data infrastructure and product development.
- Own privacy incident response and resolve data-handling issues cross-functionally.
- Design software, architecture, and live production infrastructure for Hark's privacy systems.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of software engineering experience with a meaningful focus on privacy infrastructure.
- Hands-on production experience building deletion, DSAR, or consent pipelines.
- Ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into technical architecture.
- Familiarity with PII tokenization, de-identification, or data vaulting such as Skyflow or similar tools.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals.
- Bonus: experience at a privacy-infrastructure company such as Transcend, DataGrail, Securiti, Skyflow, or Evervault.
- Bonus: experience building privacy systems at scale at companies such as Meta, Google, Uber, Airbnb, or DoorDash.
- Bonus: familiarity with synthetic data or de-identification tools such as Gretel or Tonic.ai.
Benefits
- Full-time position with a US base salary range of $150,000–$300,000 annually.
