Base Salary

$165k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate highly available, scalable, and secure observability services.
  • Influence the technology strategy and product roadmap for new AWS services.
  • Collaborate with engineering staff, product managers, UX designers, and customers.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers.
  • Act as a technical leader and force multiplier by enhancing team productivity.
  • Develop reliable and dependable software using industry best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
