Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end feature delivery from requirements analysis and design through implementation and validation.
- Design and develop a scalable private cloud solution for managing PlayStation Development Kits and associated PlayStation SDK APIs and services.
- Investigate, debug, and resolve issues in existing code and newly developed features.
- Participate in requirements gathering and architectural discussions with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain high engineering standards.
- Attend periodic in-person workshops and team events, with occasional travel as required.
Requirements
- Commercial or open-source experience developing production-quality software in Rust, including ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits, generics, error handling, and asynchronous programming with Tokio.
- Strong commercial experience developing software in modern C++.
- Understanding of concurrency, multithreaded programming, and modern software design principles.
- Experience writing automated tests and applying modern software testing practices.
- Proficiency with Git or another distributed version control system.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on intuitive products and developer workflows.
- Desirable experience developing cross-platform applications for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Desirable experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Desirable experience building APIs using gRPC and/or REST.
- Desirable experience deploying and managing applications using Kubernetes and/or AWS.
- Desirable proficiency with Docker, Podman, or other container technologies.
- Desirable experience developing user interfaces with React.
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
