Responsibilities

Build and improve user, workspace, permission, API key, login, analytics, security, and administrative platform capabilities.
Design generic resource and permissioning services that product teams can use to build features safely and efficiently.
Ship customer-facing features end to end, including backend services and admin or settings interfaces.
Scope work within a large existing system, assessing rollout risks, migrations, and downstream impacts.
Roll out changes safely with minimal disruption to users, teams, and systems.
Debug and operate built systems using customer reports, logs, and code.
Own features from scoping through completion and collaborate with product teams, Sales, FDEs, and customer teams.

Demonstrated ability to solve impressively hard problems through past projects or GitHub contributions; no formal experience, certification, or degree is required.
Expertise in Python.
Strong backend development background with the ability to work across the stack as needed.
Experience with software and system design patterns and infrastructure, including APIs, cloud infrastructure tools, storage solutions, and data structures.
Strong testing and security fundamentals.
Careful, detail-oriented approach to changing live, business-critical systems and ability to learn a large existing codebase quickly.
Comfort working with ambiguity and prioritizing among competing signals.
Preferred experience with authentication, authorization, or permissioning technologies such as OAuth, SSO/SCIM, or RBAC.
Preferred experience with Kubernetes.
Preferred experience building internal platforms or services used by engineering teams.
