Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Priceline’s native iPhone and iPad applications for hotel, rental car, and air travel bookings.
  • Create innovative mobile platform features from scratch using Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode, and Apple’s iOS SDK.
  • Develop fast, stable, and efficient native mobile solutions using modern concurrency and architecture patterns.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, designers, and UI/UX specialists.
  • Build relationships with Product Managers and UI/UX Specialists to deliver high-quality iOS code.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced developers on engineering best practices.
  • Explore and contribute to the Android platform as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
  • At least 4 years of experience with one or more iOS SDK frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of Swift, the iOS SDK, and Xcode.
  • Understanding of modern concurrency patterns such as async/await and GCD.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or VIPER is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with local data persistence technologies such as Core Data, Realm, or SQLite.
  • Familiarity with dependency management tools such as Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, unit testing, data structures, and multithreaded development.
  • Cross-platform development experience or interest in bridging iOS and Android is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Node.js, Kotlin, or another backend framework is a plus.
  • Demonstrated integrity, ethics, customer focus, innovation, teamwork, accountability, and trust.
